This
fun-filled day is dubbed the "Homecoming for
the State of Texas" by the Texas Tourist Agency.
The festival is held under the shady pecan trees
at Koenig Park on the Medina River. Make a short
Sunday drive with your entire family and enjoy
a wonderful day filled with great food, fun and
entertainment.
9 a.m. — Mass is celebrated in the historic St.
Louis Catholic Church in Castroville, Texas. Archbishop
Gustavo Garcia-Siller will preside. The famed Liederkranz
Men's Choir will provide the singing.
11 a.m. — BBQ beef and Alsatian style sausage
dinner is served until 2 p.m.
